Yarra Valley Snack Foods acquired the Hole-Sum and Mexicana businesses in 2003. The current Yarra Valley Snack Foods management team brings a wealth of snack food knowledge and experience to our portfolio of brands that have been long established in the Australian Market.

Significant investment has been made since 2003, to ensure we have the highest quality and production processes. Yarra Valley Snack Foods is a HACCP certified business for both food safety and quality control systems - the highest independent food accreditation in Australia. We are also certified to produce Organic, Gluten Free and Halal products.

Our commitment to high levels of flexibility and customer service has resulted in rapid growth in recent times, and our 100% Australian owned brands are now proudly found in any one of 15 countries around the world - from Ireland to New Zealand.

Mexicana Foods

The Mexicana corn chips range has strong appeal with consumers seeking not only a healthier alternative but a more authentic Mexican style chip.

Using only sun ripened, GMO free, Australian whole corn kernels, Mexicana chips are made using the traditional method whereby the corn is cooked, steeped and then stone ground to form a corn paste known as Masa. The range includes varieties that offer organic corn, low salt, no added MSG or a combination thereof.

Hole-Sum

Established in 1988, the Hole-Sum brand is today synonymous with premium quality nuts, seeds, dried fruits and health snack products.

Hole-Sum's extensive product range include a variety of different fruit and nut mixes. Each has been carefully refined over the past 20 years in order to satisfy a diversity of taste profiles. And, unlike competitor brands, all Hole-Sum mixes use the same high quality ingredients as found in their single product packs.

The Hole-Sum packaging system is designed to ensure minimal breakage resulting in little or no product crumbs or nut skins in the packs.
